Perspective, Passion & Persistence are the guiding forces to creating a life of joy and authentic success. From his childhood days as Dickie Jr. to his present-day role as a husband, and father of six, Rich continues to live life with a steadfast, never-say-die attitude.
In 1983, doctors told Rich that by thirty he'd be in a wheelchair if he didn't slow down and prepare for a life behind a desk. Determined to live on his own terms, he almost proved the doctors right. At 37, after a full life of sports, outside sales, and speaking, Rich woke up unable to walk. Undeterred, on April 25, 2006, he underwent elective amputation below the left knee, and is back on his feet sharing his message of determination and hope with the world.
Rich has experienced tremendous successes and overcome crushing setbacks. Drawing from all areas of his life to share how to recognize and avoid the pitfalls we all come across, he also motivates audiences to see the success we've all experienced, but often are unable to acknowledge and celebrate.
Rich brings humor, insight, and inspiration to his audiences, whether he is speaking on personal motivation and goal setting, the intricacies of sales and customer service, self-promotion and marketing, family dynamics, or coaching speakers of every type.
"Your message on leadership was inspirational to all of us in attendance. I have already noticed an effective change in attitude to actually "lead" those they supervise and not just manage. I am personally integrating the ideas you taught to build a better working environment for all of us! Thanks again!" - Roger Rife, VP/Regional Operations Manager, Countrywide Home Loans
