There's a big difference in the Machines from 1978 BuckSteel "Solo Flex"
version to the current model...
... and pretty big difference along the way even in the 1984 to 1993 or
so years. I know, I own and use one of each (different locations, and
uses).
BUY THE OLDER MACHINE IF YOU CAN -- TRUST ME ON THIS. I could
tell you why ALL DAY!

Apparently (and I haven't read this yet with my own eyes), but 75% of
Americans are expected to be obese in another 10 years I believe.
We're at 66% right now.

Any of you ever get a sore lower back after working out with the
Rockit? For some reason, my lower back gets sore--regardless of using
heavy or light resistance. Also, when I use heavy resistance, my
shoulders get sore. I've tried varying my feet position, but it
doesn't seem to make much difference. I never really liked squats with
the muscle machine, even using a manta ray attachment, but I'm finding
that the Rockit is not much of an improvement. Any help appreciated.
