I've also been taking whey in my morning fruit shake for over a year.
It probably has been good for me. Don't know for sure.
However, I do miss it when I run out of it.
It's more the habit that I have developed and the taste that I have acquired that’s important for me, rather then realizing the value that it brings me.
Luckily, no muscle or structural pains to speak of, except for when I have the great feeling of muscle soreness from a good work out.
Always thought that life and living will give us physical pain, so it may be smarter to have the self induced pain of a great workout to prevent greater pain later on.
Sounds negative?
Probably, and it does motivate me in those moments when I'm feeling lethargic.
