I enjoyed this video on a business calling card/brochure.

Over the top is great, and I agree with an oversize card.  Mine is.

There is one aspect that he ignores: the card is only an entry point, not the engagement or the sale.  I prefer to get other people's cards, and only when asked do I give my oversized card with a picture on it.

At $4 per card that he shows, be intelligent and use what works for you.  My card is probably 10 cents each, and I have started to give two or three out to each person.  "One for your friend", I'll say.
