Expectations of Extreme Toastmasters

An Extreme Toastmaster's promise:

• To attend ET meetings regularly
• To prepare all of my speeches to the best of my ability, basing them on projects in the Communication and Leadership Program manual or the Advanced manuals
• To prepare for and fulfill meeting assignments
• To provide fellow members with helpful, constructive evaluations
• To help our ET Club maintain the positive, friendly environment necessary for all members to learn and grow
• To serve our ET Club as an officer when called upon to do so
• To treat my fellow ET Club members and our guests with respect and courtesy
• To bring guests to our ET Club meetings so they can see the benefits Toastmasters membership offers
• To adhere to the guidelines and rules for all Toastmasters educational and recognition programs
• To maintain honest and highly ethical standards during the conduct of all Toastmasters activities

I, like you, watched our Bears play this past Sunday.

Our Chicago team is a world class caliber group that you and I may draw inspiration and lessons from.   They believed, practiced and performed to participate in a championship arena.

Here is our lesson:  To press on to be Extreme, we must plan, prepare and participate at a World class level! 

It's no longer extreme to be the best club in Chicago.  Let's apply ourselves to believe, act & communicate at the ultimate level.

It starts with each ET meeting that we hold and continues through to our individual speaking performance and passion.
